LINDA ROEDER Educator, Performer, Director, Producer
Linda is an educator who believes education is a calling, a passion, and a lifelong pursuit. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg State College (now East Stroudsburg University); Master of Arts in Education from Beaver College (now Arcadia University), and Principal’s Certification from University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. She worked as an educator for 35 years in Cheltenham School District. During her time at Cheltenham, she worked with gifted students, special education students, and those “in the middle." Linda earned NEA grants and created innovative programs to boost students to achieve their potential. She participated in award-winning teams with her colleagues in the School District of Cheltenham Township.
Along with education, Linda has a passion for musical theatre. She was a Musical Theatre Director and she collaborated with producers/arts directors, musical directors, choreographers, and teaching staff on several musical productions. Linda directed one of the original productions of HOMEROOM. She is a singer, actress, recording artist, and performer, a love she has had since childhood. Linda joined the HOMEROOM Project as a producer so she could bring the positive messages in the musical to as many people as possible.
